What I'm worried about right now
Getting fired because I ran my freaking mouth about a Marine who has been lying about coming to work late. Higher marine found out that lying marine is in extended care for his kids daycare, and should have been to work at 0530. Not really my fault because said higher marine has kids in extended care also. So he saw tlying marine's kids, all I said was most dual military is in extended care. But still. Crap. Go me.

And so starts the countdown...
Darren isn't home. Again. He's in the field for three days. Manwich for dinner. Two months till deployment.

These are the reasons why being a Marine wife sucks...
- You're husband is pretty much never home, especially as it gets closer and closer to deployment.
- You need a general power of attorney to do ANYTHING financially related. (Word to the wise: Special military POAs are useless pieces of paper.)
- Deployments are a minimum six months. Boo.
- You have the potential to get stationed somewhere really bad (like where I'm at)
- There's no such thing as a nine to five work schedule. (unless you're a paper pusher, which according to my husband, are not actual Marines.)
- There's always the possibility that he might not come home.
- You get super proud of your husband because he is the reason why people can do the stupid things they do and not die.
- It is perfectly acceptable to scream and get redneck-showdown when someone dogs the U.S. military.
- You get to travel (I'm not going to get to do this being a wife, but I did get to as a Navy daughter)
- You have the potential to get stationed somewhere fabulous like Kaneohe Bay in Hawaii, or Iwakuni, Japan. Who doesn't love Japanese food!
- You get a bubbly feeling when someone thanks your husband for their service.
- You get an even bubblier feeling when someone thanks YOU for your (sometimes ultimate) sacrifice.
- The homecomings are always worth the wait.

Things are starting to look up!
We got the house!!! It is super small (like as in the kitchen is pretty much nonexistent), but it is only 425 a month, and water is included, so its gonna save us a ton of money between gas, water, and rent. And since our roommate decided not to pay rent this payday, we can't live with someone who is going to randomly decided when he is and is not going to pay rent. It's a one bedroom and one bath, and since it's so much smaller than the place that we're in now, we're not going to have to pay for as much furniture. We get to sign the lease on Monday, and on the first of November we get to move in! I really am excited, but until I find a job, it's going to be super tight in terms of money. But hopefully someone from the four million jobs I applied for will call me back. Keep your fingers crossed!
In other news, Darren comes back from the field on Sunday! It's lonely without him around, and having no friends in this place. I can't wait! I don't think that he will be here to help me move, but I think one of his friends might be willing to help me out. I hope so, anyways. Well, anyways, that's the recent events in my life; now I have to get back to my soul sucking homework. Grrr. One day, one day.
Tootles!

Its gotta get worse before it gets better...right?
I literally don't think I've ever been this low in my entire life. It's one thing after another after another after another. I can't seem to catch a break since I moved out here. We lost the house. The lady told us that it was ours when we looked at it and that she would see us on the 1st of November. Then she turns around a couple weeks later and gives me some crap excuse of us not being prepared enough to rent the house, so she "is just going to have to back out." WTH??? I wouldn't have minded, except that after we looked at the house, I gave our landlord our 30 day notice. So now I have to be out of this house by the third, and I don't have a house to move into. I looked at one today, and put a down payment on it to hold it for two weeks; lets just hope we pass the credit check and can get moved in. Not to mention all of the money problems, car problems (the Tiburon finally died and we had to get a new one. New car means new debt.), and the sheer fact that Darren isn't home because he is on a field op, and you can pretty much sum it up in a nutshell that I think I am officially depressed. I've never been depressed before (and therefore am not qualified to diagnose myself, that's just what it feels like), and neither like nor want the feeling being here. It pretty much sucks the big one. I just want to get out of my slump. UGH. Hurry up and get my degree so I can get my job (or any job ever in this complete hellhole), and get out of California. Or at least get a friend that I can spend the next three years here with. That would at least make it bearable when Darren isn't here. I just want to go home.

Today's personal accomplishment
Drumroll please........
I got an 80 on my Trig quiz! Yay me! Granted, I had to take it three times to accomplish this feat, but I did it! Normally I get much higher on quizzes, but this chapter was a doozie. And I did my homework, and I'm caught up with all of my school work, and I am officially the most awesome person that ever walked the face of the Earth! (Can you picture me in a supersuit with a cape around me, with my hands on my hips and my chest thrust out?? Cuz I'm definitely doing it.) Its been mad crazy this past week for school. I don't mind taking classes online, but starting Trigonometry while in the middle of the rest of my classes!? And online, of all places?! Whew!
Well that's my supercool reason for bragging today, Darren is making dinner, and it smells really good, and my mouth is watering, and my tummy is grumbling, and yea, I have to go.

I am a lazy useless person, and I love it!
I woke up at 11:30 this morning, never got dressed, spent the whole day with Darren, never put makeup on, and never took my hair down from the horrible bun it was in all day.....
And I've never been happier. :)
Have a good day!!!
P.S. We're moving!!!!! YAY!!!
