Well the wedding date has changed yet again to July 16th. That's like....in a month! OMG its scary but super exciting! It's just a tiny little ceremony at the courthouse, seeing as how neither one of us has the money to pay for the big wedding that we want. So we will be "getting married" again next November, after he gets back from Afghanistan. :( That gives us, my parents, and his parents a year and a half to save up the money for the wedding. The budget is 6000 dollars. If anyone has gotten married recently, then you know that this is absolutely unheard of as far as weddings go. Most people can't pull the shindig off for less than maybe 10,000 dollars at the minimum, but I'm awesome, so I am doing super cheap. :)
His aunt and uncle have generously provided a condo in Daytona Beach for the reception, my parents are paying for the wedding itself, and his parents are giving us money to help furnish our apartment. He and I have the best family around!
The officially moving to Cali on September 2nd or 3rd! YAY!!! I can't wait! It sucks so bad to live this far away from the person you love, but we're getting there! Marc is going with me, so the road trip should be oodles of fun. Hopefully the Grand Canyon is on the 10, because I would love to go back.
The job situation is still a no-go. Apparently no one has deemed me fit enough to call back. Hopefully this will change once I get to California. If anything, I can probably work for MCCS (Marine Corps Core Support) at the 7 day store or the PX or something. Apparently that's where a lot of spouses work.
I'll be back in school in August! They're all online classes with Florida State College, and this is my last semester (Thank God). I'll finally graduate in December! Then all I need is Calculus (times three) and Physics 1, 2, and 3 (BOO!!!). I suppose I'll see that Bachelors Degree someday...
